You may need to post an underside photo as well. Also it would help if you state where in Vietnam the specimens come from. If you have upper and underside photos plus locality I can ask a friend who should be able to identify them.

I received a reply already, this is Stichophthalma mathilda Janet,1905. Apparently this species is quite variable, usually brown, and has been separated from the reddish Stichophthalma louisa.

Thanks Adam That is what I had classified it as mathildato be honest but as you said, this species is so variable that it is very easy to misidentify it. Much appreciated. Jon
