North Texas area. We have a lot of rain and storms the last few days. Today in the yard there are clumps of about 50-100 of these tiny insects together. Found about 30 clumps. Im not good with measurements, but my best guess is about 1/4 to 1/3 the size of a house fly. And I assume they are nymphs, but insects are not my specialty.

Those are clusters of stink bug nymphs (family Pentatomidae) -
