Hello. Thanks for your assistance, this is my first post. I'm not a bug person so I will do my best. I live in Virginia. I was cutting my grass yesterday when something that looked like a beetle flew up on my leg. It was solid back, but towards it head it had a well defined yellow semi-circle going east to west on its back. I couldn't figure out how to put an image in the post natively, but if you click this link you'll see a pic I drew of the bug: ibb.co/4SGS1w8 Any help identifying is greatly appreciated! |

Bandrow Interesting, that is probably the closest from a looks perspective. I was cutting the grass and it flew up on my leg. I didn't take the time to admire it, I smacked it off pretty quick. However, from what I saw it was very close to my picture. A real "traditional" beetle body with the yellow semi-circle. I really appreciate the help. I wish I had taken a picture. |
