I found this attached to my fence. Anyone know what it may be? I have not oped the sac. Location: Southern Ontario, Canada

None of the above replies mentioned that it is actually a cocoon, not an egg sac. The adult moth should hatch from it soon, if it hasn't already. Someone relatively local will be able to telll you approximately when that should happen.
