Hi all,
This is my first time posting on the forum.
I saw this insect in Carlsbad, New Mexico, near the border of Texas. Unfortunately I could not get a very good photo, but from this you can see that it’s body is nearly fully black, and it has very large hind legs. In addition, the tips of its antenna were bright orange, as well as the tips of its front legs.
