What species do these eggs belong to?

I live in the northeast of England and I found this small cluster of eggs in my bedroom attached to the wall, not really close to anything significant and I have no idea what they are, there was a small orbweaver closeby but then there is a small worm-like creature crawling around ontop of them which you can see dangling from the eggs.
