Today I saw my first Pieris rapae larva. I know. Still, I've seen the butterflies flying around the nasturtiums for years and could see the chewed leaves, but never a larva, today I found 2 from following the frass.
It just goes to show you that even common things can be elusive. I can see why they're hard to spot.

Fwiw nasturtium flowers are very edible.

Fwiw nasturtium flowers are very edible. I know, we're a long way from eating the flowers though, although around here, nasturtiums are just about unkillable, if you didn't want them. Speaking of dinner- homemade chile rellenos--- that'll learn that eatery to not answer the phone.
