I meet Gary Larson about 20+ years ago while working at the University of Kentucky. He was a true character with a twisted sence of humor.

I suppose it's only a matter of time. As systematics turns from morphology to genetics, who needs wings? From a logical perspective, tossing the wings would save me a lot of headache.

actually a number of years ago I discovered a wingless fly.
Accordingly I named it. A Walk!!!!!!!!

I once had to call the police because some aggressive flies came into my house and refused to leave......
They sent over the SWAT team.....

A fly is buzzing around a wolf hound.
Fly: What kind of dog are you?
Dog: I’m a wolf hound.
Fly: A wolf hound? Strange name. Why do they call you like that?
Dog: Well, it’s quite obvious. My mother was a hound and my father was a wolf.
Fly: I see…

Fly: I’m a horse-fly.
