I saw this little guy climbing up my garbage bin the other day, our house is adjacent to a wooded area so in the summer months we see all kind of insects, but I have never seen this one before. I live in a semi rural suburb on the west island of Montreal, Quebec (Canada).
Based on what I've found on the web it seems to be some kind of Stink Bug, but I haven't found one that looks like this...
Spotted last week at the beginning of July. Not sure if it matters but it has been an unusually dry summer with very little rain.
