Hi
I took a video of 2 small bugs ~1-2mm I found in a 12" pot in my kitchen. Over the past few days I've seen these also in my bedroom and on my arm and neck, altogether probably about 10 or so. We live in Los Angeles CA, near a hiking trail and a park.
What kind of bug is this? How can I get rid of it?
Here is the video:
Thanks! -Neal

They appear to be small Darkling Beetles of some kind, family Tenebrionidae - bugguide.net/node/view/152It's not unusual for these to wander inside houses during the warmer months; they might be seeking moisture, or just cooler temperatures. They don't bite, and are harmless.
