Hi,

Can you tell me what the actual status on Papilio hermeli is. Is it a own species or subspecies of chikae. And what about legal matters? I need to sell my Papilio Collection and have a hermeli pair (2007 and 1999) from Mindoro.

This was discussed in detail not long ago in a different thread. Hermeli is now SOMETIMES CITES I, sometimes CITES II, both of which only apply to international trade.

Individual countries enforce internal and international rules differently. Some agents interpret their own countries laws different than other agents. Prickly legal ground.
