I can possibly post a picture later, but on one of our oak trees, I've noticed these small, near-perfectly spherical little egg-like things. They're white with a speckling of red dots on the top. There's only one per leaf, as far as I've observed. Now, this oak already has plenty of fuzzy little red galls all over the leaves. (Holland, Michigan, for location reference!)
What am I looking at, here? Any help or ideas would be very appreciated!

Do yours look anything like these? -

Ope- definitely an oak apple gall wasp. I'll be keeping an eye on these interesting fellows!
