We observed this large gray beetle (approx 2 inches long) with very long antennae ( approx 4-5 inches long) it had no spots I’m trying to add a picture but have not yet figured out how to

Greetings, The surest way to end up being wrong, is to assume to be right... but here goes! Sounds to me like Monochamus notatus - a common, and striking long-horned beetle with the common name of "Northeastern pine sawyer". Check here to see if this is your beast: Monochamus notatusCheers!
