I just ordered a truckload of Sat cocoons from her by UPS overnight. All came through OK.
Her dad says she is going on vacation from now for a few days.

I ordered some papered Saturnids from Katelyn. They arrived to me in only a few days and are excellent in every way. She is definitely the real deal!

Hello everyone,
I am reviving this thread because I have not received my order of regalis ova from Katelyn Mayo. My previous order with her (May 26) came through with no issue. So I placed another order with her eight days ago and was told the ova would be sent. My first order came through in half the time, but here I am now eight days later with two un-answered emails and nothing in the mail. Obviously I hope everything is ok with her, but I would be lying if I didn't say I'm afraid I'm getting ripped off this time around. If anyone is in communication with her please inform her that I am still waiting for my order.

Let me just add that I know she has at least visited this site in the last few days because she had posted an ad in the Lepidoptera deadstock section for a Citheronia aberrant specimen. This furthers my suspicion that I am being taken for a ride.

Obewan, I do not have an fb account. But if you are connected to her please remind her that she has an outstanding order with me. Its highly questionable when emails go un-answered, especially when almost everyone these days has a smartphone with internet access.

Creobroter, Clark, damooose and even yourself have vouched for Katelyn Mayo in this thread.
I also can vouch for her as one who provides quality livestock. I am confident you have not been scammed, nor have you been been ripped off, nor have you been mistreated by a "bad trader". There are probably good and simple explanations as to why Katelyn has not responded yet and you have not received eggs yet. I am very confident from my experiences with Katelyn that all will be resolved shortly without any interference from anyone else.
I remain concerned that people who remain nameless can cast aspersions on the reputations of others whom they name, in this section.
I do not know if Google robots will eventually pick up this thread or not. If they do, and someday someone else wants to do a Google search of "Katelyn Mayo; bad trader", there may be a Google entry, and it would be a shame if the searcher stops there without reading the entire thread.
I recently had a shipment of luna eggs dispatched by one of my shipping partners. The would-be-recipient indicated he had not received them in a reasonable amount of time. I double checked with the shipper and received assurance they had been shipped.
I then sent the customer a copy of the shipping label that had been used, and it turned out that the customer had made a typo in providing the address. That can happen. It is also possible that Katelyn made an error in copying the address. She is an honest person and I am confident the issue will be resolved in a satisfactory manner if the latter is the case.
Twice this year and once last year people tried to send me payments by paypal, and the customers tried sending the money to the wrong email address. They simply misspelled the address I provided when they tried to send the payment. Two of the situations this year were quickly rectified when I suggested perhaps the wrong email address had been entered. The purchaser checked and that is what had happened. The one customer last year became quite indignant when I suggested that as a possibility, assured me that the payment had been sent to the correct email address, and then cast aspersions (publicly and behind my back) on my name over the incident. When they finally sent me a copy of the actual paypal transaction page, I was able to point out the misspelling they had used. Once this year I made a typo when sending out my own email address for receiving a payment. That situation was rectified with an apology from me and a correction by me.
Katelyn could be sick, she could be travelling, she may be taking a break, she may be having computer problems.
The power supply on my computer went down in the wee hours of the morning on July 16. Fortunately I was able to get a new one installed and was operational again within 24 hours. If the power supply had not been in stock at the store, I might have been down for a couple of days. Stuff can happen.
Maybe Katelyn is trying to figure out what happened to your order. Maybe she has forgotten to get back to you right away as she tries to sort things out. Maybe she sent you the last batch of eggs from that female and did not get them shipped until just a day or two ago and the eggs will show up on Friday or Saturday. Maybe she has just made an honest mistake.
I know from experience of trying to dispatch eggs, set out my own hatchlings, do house repairs, arrange time for family visits, and take care of personal affairs that things can get a bit hectic sometimes.
I am confident this episode will be resolved to your satisfaction. Katelyn is a good person.

Hi Bill,
They are all plausible scenarios. However, nowhere in my posts did I mention what kind of a "trader" she was. So if anyone were to google her and have that scenario you described happen, it will not be with my words.
I understand that life happens, but I was told the eggs would be shipped out the 9th and have had no correspondence since then. I am not asking for anyone's sympathy, but please see it from my point-of-view.
