At this writing I still have not received a box of bugs from Zdeno as promised. When I originally heard from Zdeno I held out hope for some resolution from being scammed by Musa Mmbaga. Zdeno, if you have no intention of shipping any bugs it would be best just to say so. There doesn't appear that there is any justice applied to these scammers which is probably why there is yet another post about a scammer from Zambia in todays classifieds......and so it goes on and on and on and on and on............

If people would stop sending money in advance it would stop fairly quickly.

Agreed, collectors need to stop sending money in advance. My point was that Zdeno sent me an email (dated 9/19/13) saying that he felt that it is time for Musa to feel some "pain" by distributing some of Musa's bugs to collectors who had been burned by Musa. There has been some debate on this thread as to whether Zdeno should burn Musa Mmbaga the way Musa has burned many others. Since it was Zdeno's offer, I was hoping that he would make good on it.

Zdeno, No worries. I wasn't aware that you had taken the long trip until your email. Thanks much for the response.

It should be noted that "Zdeno" on this thread promised to forward some specimens to me that he received from Musa. Those bugs have never been received by me and correspondence from Zdeno has stopped. Although I am glad that Zdeno stuck it to Musa, I don't appreciate the empty promise from Zdeno. Alas, finding honest people out there continues to become more and morde difficult.

Never send payment in advance to Cameroon or other countries in the region, that includes even a relatively small payment for postage, which many scammers ask for. After you send the postage payment they will not actually send specimens, but will ask for more money.
Adam.

After many successful transactions with Fabrice Amigou (aka Lucien mdballa mbida) or whatever name he goes with now I though I had found a good, reliable supplier in Cameroon, but I was wrong. People may say that he is legit, but he will put a knife in your back eventually, beware, he is still operating on Facebook. Andrew

The formula for dealing with African suppliers is simple - DO NOT EVER send money in advance. The African suppliers I work with are glad to ship first because they understand that is how our business transactions work and of course the best part for them is that they always get paid By the way Zdeno - If you are still out there. I still have not received the box of butterflies that you promised to send me. Almost a year now.
