We are beseiged with scammers, Msua MMbaga has pages of people who have been ripped off by this swindler and crook on Facebook, just one of dozens I have identified in recent months. The latest tact these crooks are using e.g. Mothy Gold Entomology and Fabrice Amougou is that these guys want to "go into partnership with you". but its the same old story, this so called partner needs you to send him postage money first before, as his funds arer currently very low. When you correspond with these dumbasses, they give you a differnt name (identity) for themselves, each time you correspond with them. One had a story that "Yes, he was a scammer, but wanted to change his ways" ONCE A SCAMMER ALWAYS A SCAMMER !
You are going by Fabrice Amougou , then you say your name is MBALLA MBIDA LUCIEN, then you have a free hotmail account in France and then you are using an odd E-mail name. You look like all the other African crooks, Then too, I see that others have not received packages they have paid you for. This is not a good sign. Are you just another African scammer – it appears that way to me? It is ashamed, because you could have a legitimate and profitable business, as I alone have purchased hundreds of thousands of $ of specimens over the decades.
These pictures you sent, below were taken off the net and were photographed digitally on dates between 2007 and 2011 and using a Canon camera.
I should have titled this, "I just didn't fall of of a turnip truck, yesterday"
There are so many of these guys out there, there should be an international hit squad. I'd gladly donate to this type of cause.

Sihaba Hussein, Tanzania another scammer to put on the list fom Africa. Several persona have paid large sums of money to the person who send nothing in rreturn. Like so many others, this fellow is on Facebook and makes contact in the dozen or so insect and especially moth groups.

I would say almost every African on face book is a scammer or will scam you if they get the chance. I don't really get it myself but it is actually in there nature to try and get one over on you. They don't see it as stealing but just winning ?? That is the conclusion I have come up with anyway.
If you look back you will see I gave details and names of Mothy Gold and his gang. The saga has gone on since I posted that (Too long a tale to write here) but believe me he has NOT changed his ways. Asking you to be his partner or agent is just another scam. He reels you in and then talks you out of your money. This is 'Nick' we are talking about and his friends. I can almost guarantee the names and emails will again change soon, so be very careful

Another day, another unhappy partner for Nick (Mothy Gold) seems this one didn't last long either. Nick tells me today he is sending a few hundred Eudocima to me, tries to get me to send him some money up front again, despite telling him absolutely not about 50 times no matter what his sad story is. Then he trried to up the past agreed upon price. The he tells me "they guys in the uk are thiefs i got over 1000 specimens with some thiefs" Then a few hours later, I get this message "dear sir, sorry but clive claims my package of 1000 insects is not worth payment so am back to square zero, and broke and cannot be able to ship
if u need reference of me or want to pay to my partner in florida....." So it seems new day, new partner - I mean next victim and unhappy partner. These crooks are so predictable, it borders on being comical.
Also got a similar message from Musa who unfriended me on facebook when I posted about his scamming ways for all to see. He assurred me he would prove to me he was honest and send to me specimens without payment up front and he agreed he would do that "you will see I am honest, I will send you specimens.I will not let you down" Now he writes " will send specimens they are ready, but you must send postage money first."
They all operate the same, no matter what they agree to, they change it, none of them can operate honestly. The only specimens I have been able to get out of Africa in the past 45 years are from non-african collectors, all of which were honest in their dealings. These guys could have had about $900.00 of my money, instead now they will have to eat those cow patties they have been saving. Tune in for the next episode of "who will be the new partner" or "will their scam work this time". This has been the Scam Report for 8-15-2012.

I have so many emails from Musa Mmbaga telling me he will "make things right with me" my hard drive is probably almost full. Musa is a swindler, no ands, ifs, or buts about it! Apparently at one time Musa actually shipped specimens but now he has decided that stealing money is much easier. I'm glad to hear that there are posts about his dishonest deeds on Facebook.....the more awareness that is created about these dirtbags the more difficult it will be for them to continue in their evil ways.

Re: Musa. At one time he did send specimens however the quality and the identifications were somewhat dubius but the real problem is he never sent what he stated one would receive. And the postage scam: they all try it. My advice, and you can give it to them, is if they cannot afford to post their packages like an honest supplier they cannot afford to be in this business. If they do send, it better be the species and quality you were expecting. End of story. Lets keep the scammers out. Never pay up front from an unreliable and mysterious source.

I am sitting here reading all this about Nick (Mothy Gold) and dont know where to start really. Some time ago I gave a warning about him and his friends on this forum, and as soon as I have time I will be publishing a lot more information. I know almost everything about him and his friends and previous alias's, his latest dealings with Clive and the fact that he is now in partnership with Thierry Gadagbui from Togo where Nick is now operating from. I will get the full facts out as soon as I can

Thanks for the heads up, guys... I have blocked Musa (one of my facebook 'friends') and three other scammers named in this thread even though they are not my FB 'friends'...and now never will be...

Musa Mmbaga scammed me in May of 2012. If he has actually sent a parcel to anyone out there I will not only be shocked but I will be extremely angry! Musa has scammed so many insect buyers over the last few years it is unthinkable. Please keep us posted on what you find out about your parcel. If you don't find his email address you can private message me and I can give you the one that I currently have.

I dont know if its him or not, but I have a feeling that is, that he run out of money and now he is trying to earn a few bucks by real sales. I dont believe there is more Musa from Kilimanjaro selling stuff. Firstly, I didnt want anything to buy from him...I m not interested in African stuff, then for the fun I have replied, that I will take it for the half price he was asking. Then the same story, the parcel was sent and returned back to him, delays with customs, etc...but I was playing the game with him...till Monday when I got his packet. Well...If its this Musa, I will do him in the way he used to other people...simple not pay him and all the material will be send to people he has robbed...there are some Papilios only...I dont really need that stuff...I hate butterflies ! I have had five new names in that area coming after me with offers this week. I keep telling them no, but they persist. I finally sent a note to one of them today to try and stop them from emailing me so much. I am waiting for the "I need some postage money up front" line next. I told them that I will not pay their price for any specimens sight unseen. I explained to him several times that I will pay nothing if the specimens that he sends are not good species in absolute A1 condition. He still wants to send them, so............... We shall see. I never cheat them, but get tired of them sending me unwanted boxes of broken crap that there is no use for. It is fun to play with the ones that are known thieves though.
