Hi people, As you can see from my website below I am not really onto Ornithoptera. However, like all serious collectors, I do own a couple of nice specimens....like this one, Ornithoptera caelestis. Jonathan www.satyrinae.yolasite.com/Attachments:

Johathan. Good specimen of caelestis. Quite hard to obtain and rare in nature. Discovered by A. S. Meek. Some people think that it is distinct from O. priamus. A lovely blue, lighter than in urvillianus. Wolf. Ha Ha Ha. That specimen must be one of a kind. So rare it must have been bought for one million Euros in the legendary Norwegian Island of merriment. ;D ;D Seriously folks, keep those specimen images coming, I and many others are really enjoying them. Peter.

Wolf. Ha Ha Ha. That specimen must be one of a kind. So rare it must have been bought for one million Euros in the legendary Norwegian Island of merriment. ;D ;D Thanks. It is considered super rare, and less than 1 specimen has ever been found. Actually it comes from myownmind, which is very remote and hard to access. But to be serious for once, very nice specimens people. I myself do not own any real ornithoptera, yet.
