Let the games begin! The person to ID the insect with the closest guess as to where it was collected will receive the specimen and get it shipped to an address of their choosing free of charge. The only hint that will be given is the riddle with the initial post. Participants will have one week to submit answers before the specimen is revealed and a winner is chosen. Have fun and good luck! Like a prism bending light, I shine so bright when I take flight I have a brother who looks the same, but I live south, hence my name Most have six, but I have four, this is the last, I’ll say no more

Sadly not a beetle, so I thinks, but I'll have a crack all the same.

I was strictly a beetle guy for a long time, but branched out and now appreciate many types of insects. There will be beetles in future puzzles, though Remember, you can send the prize to any address, so it could be a great gift!

I have some extra time today, so here is another puzzle for your entertainment. Hope you guys like them, and I have a lot of cool ideas for future puzzles that should be really fun. At first you may think I'm a moth or a bee, Slow moving wings are easy to see
A roar in the forest of deafening sound, No need for defense when we break the ground
With king midas envy and charcoal in mind, Paint this Cạkcạ̀n and finish the rhyme

Alright ladies and gentleman, the time has arrived to unveil the second mystery bug!
The incredible whit of our contestants once again proved too great for the huge diversity that is the Insect Kingdom, and here are the guesses:
Bichos 2/6/2015 @ 7:14 AM- Becquartina electa Entoman 2/6/2015 @ 4:23 PM- Becquartina electa collected from Wiang Papao, Thailand Mantisboy 2/7/2015 @ 8:33 AM- Khuanalna electa collected in Thailand Stringer 2/12/2015 @ 7:34 PM- Magicada
This weeks species is: Becquartina electa, although I believe Khuanalna electa is also a synonym
Origin: Chiang Rai, N.Thailand
Date: 10/2013
Congratulation Entoman you are this weeks winner!
Send me the address you wish to have the specimen shipped to and I will get it out as soon as possible.
These slow flying cicadas are very colorful and here is a video showing the unique flying in action:
Thanks for playing guys and good luck next month!!!

The rules are ID with closest locality, so even if the correct ID is made you must still determine where it was collected

Wiang Papao is in Chiang Rai Province, and that is where the collectors are, so I think Entoman is spot on.
I guess "Cạkcạ̀n" in your rhyme is a phoenetic version of the Thai word Jekajan, which means cicada.
Adam.
