For lord pandarus, closer picture of the werneri female on the left. Sorry for the delay. And for the intense flash. I had to use the old camera. The quality of the specimen is not the best, but it has more green than the other. It's nice in any case. JAUME

Jaume, my sincere compliments on yet another OUTSTANDING photo from your fabulous collection ! ! I always look forward to your posts as anything you show us tends to be in numbers--- not singles. Breathtaking ! ! And your specimens are always so beautifully prepared. I know I also very much appreciate the fact that you are WILLING to show others what you have acquired through perseverance, resourcefulness, good fortune, and sometimes a little luck. Heck, I've known a couple of collectors in my time that would scarcely ever show anything from their collections--- either out of paranoia, selfishness or fear ! So please keep those fabulous images coming.... I was thoroughly enthralled back in the day --- not so long ago when Panzerman and Jaume traded images back and forth like two heavyweights in a boxing match ! BRAVO............

Trehopr1, thank you very much for your kind words. Yes, if possible I always try having variety of certain species or ssp to appreciatte better the variations. However this is only possible when one finds acceptable prices or good exchanges with other colleagues. Having nice butterflies is as you say a question of perseverance, having friends, contacts in different countries, attending insect shows and of course a little bit of good luck and....... patience !!! I will post more pictures in the future. Today 2 more pictures of my prepona collection. Hope you like them. JAUME

Very nice specimens, and photos. Congratulations on your pair of Preponas Thanos. That must have been a thrill for you to finally acquire! I am also impressed with the pairs that Robert displayed. Although Papilios are much sought after, there is just something magical about Nymphalidae, my favorite group, even when I was a youngster.

Thanos may probably read your message, but probably won't be able to answer you A+, Michel
