Hello I have a problem with Peter Stringfellow from UK he owe me 3400 usd five months ago I sent a package valued usd 6400 he received the packet and sent my 3000 usd and promised a second payment 15 days later.
and spent four months since then and did not receive any other payment.Only promises of pay .

Here we go. lets start from the beginning carlos, and please post the pictures i sent to you of the specimens rotted in the box.
Carlos offered me some beetles to which i agreed. he sent me a tracking number, but no number existed.
For months i was waiting and he would not reply to my emails. I kept saying, "if you are not going to send the speciemens, i need to buy elsewhere as i am refusing other customers" NO ANSWER
so I used my money to buy other specimens from africa.
I had booked a two weeks holiday to cyprus at the end of july, and approx six days before i was due to fly, i got a message from carlos saying, "sorry for the mistake, I have now posted your items" I explained that it was too late and that i was going on holiday. 3 days into my holiday i got a phone call from my son saying a parcel had arrived. My son knows nothing about insects so he left the box as it was.
When i returned home, all the beetles were wrapped in tissue. the entire box was full of white mould, and i lost over 70 specimens. i sent carlos $3000 which i couldn't afford as i had just come back from holiday, and spent cash on other specimens. I have told carlos, "i appologise, but i am finding it hard to get the rest of the money together" "i promise i will never rob you, and I WILL send you the money" It took me 4 days constant to clean all the specimens.
When i sent carlos the photographs, His response was OMG!!!
Now carlos, Can you please post the pictures i sent to you, and can you confirm that i have answered your emails and promised to send you the money?
I now offer to send all the remaining specimens back to you, all cleaned and all securely wrapped?

thanks so much for your add and aswer here.
first: I want to explain that the total value for this parcel was 8300 usd I do a big discount and we agree all you order for 7300 usd its ok?
second, what you say is true, the package had a delay..but delay was due to an error with my postal service and my cumtoms country the problem was solved in 10 days later no so much days as so said.
the parcel arrived to you and as you said you told me that you was on holiday... when you back from your holiday to home you wrote me this

hello
can you please send me the invoice for this parcel with specimens sizes and price. The box was all full of mould and rotting. I am trying my best to clean them with water and then acetone. it has taken me 2 days so far. please see the pictures

I have checked the beetles. I have tried to clean them the best I can, but some were damaged. Not too many though.
it has taken me 3 full days to clean and dry the specimens.the titanus is only 138mm and not 140mm and there is only one macrodontia cervicornis of 172mm. there are 2 males @ 169mm my friend.you have listed 45 macrodontia, I received 41 and 3 were A2. these were 152mm x 2 had feet/claws missing. 1 x 163mm claws missing. I have checked all the box and packing and I cannot see them.ctenoscelis ater you listed 16, I received 14 and 2 are A2 with legs damaged and missing claws.in the small beetles there are 20 that are A2.if you require photographs I can send them my friend.I request that we deduct $800 making the total $6400 is that okplease send me your bank details again

So we put in agree with 6400 usd for full beatles..
after this you sent me 3000 usd and promise send the rest of payment in 15 days later in affer this not more payment past 4 months after this.
Peter we do other business before I know you are not a swindler I understand you had any problems now but please understand me too.
I bought all the insects I sent and I need the rest of money for pay to my supliers too.
that is reason I am needing you pay me the rest 3400 usd you promise.
please let me if all I say here is OK?
only hope we can solved this in good way you know We are good person.

so why do you have to put me on blacklists for dishonest traders on facebook if you understand that i am having difficulty in sending you the rest of the payment. You also send emails to different traders telling them that i haven't paid you. I am getting emails from anton in russia telling me that i should pay you. you say when we are communicating with each other. If i was not going to pay you, i wouldn't send you the $3000 to start with???
now please can you send me your address, so that i can return the beetles to you

please send by email the list of the beatles you will back to me please so I can offer to any of my customer and you can send it direcly ok?

I have sent you $3000? there are many many M.crenata, cervicornis, C.armillatus etc? So why are you saying i am robbing you? there is well over $3000 in beetles left. do you realise what the state of those beetles were in? you have posted the messages here, why not post the pictures of the rotted beetles? I am not going round in circles here. send me your address. end of the matter..........

peter why you not do honor your word and send the rest of pay as you promised me several several times.
or why you dont send me the list of the beatles you want to back me. if I have the list and I see it is value near you promise to pay me I accept you back me it but if you want to back me only tiny part of the beatles I sent better you can take it.
really I always said I want to solved this Problem in good way an and sent several emails saying that you can send me the 3400 usd in 3 times or as you can do.
I said that I understand you and dont need one time payment . I said that. do you remember it ? but you never answer me or never answer me fast my emails. I send about 10 to 15 emails before pubish here and I do not recieved any answer from you.
but here I see you answer every day.
Peter people here are smart and they know who is right.
I hope it finish in good way as I always said.

Sorry this is a private dispute. But since it is on a forum. Two good points, never order what you cannot pay for. And if you are not happy with anything in a large combined insect order, send the whole box back with all the contents. And then every one will be happy.

We call that 'cherry picking' ? i didn't order them. I told him I had purchased elsewhere. He then sent the package. I paid him $3000 that i couldn't afford. I have not robbed anyone. I have many many M. crenata here and M. cervicornis etc. If i wanted to "cherry pick" i would have "picked those" |
