Yes Oliver (ilo44) told me today that Fickler sold them to him as naocoae...
Stapleton, you should not write that ilo44 is dishonest. He may not be as expert as you about Parnassius but he is a very serious seller.
I see errors of ssp and sp of Delias on ebay everyday. I inform sellers directly on ebay and some of them change their listings

Wollastoni,
let me draw your kind attention to the fact that I never wrote ilo44 is dishonest. I just said that a seller should be responsible, that's all. "...some of them change their listings" - Well, but some don't...
Robert,
"ssp.weii is a synonym of ssp.naocoae"... That sounds rather bizarre to me, for the two taxa are clearly, definitely, and visibly different.
Sincerely, Victor

PARNASSIUS CHARLTONIUS KABIRI DOES NOT INHABIT TAJIKISTAN. THE PAIR LISTED SO ON EBAY IS IN FACT SSP. VAPOROSUS.

Thanks But as already said, inform the seller via Ebay otherwise he won't have time to correct his ads. Only 1% of eBay buyers will read your post here.

Question: Why is CS not differentiating their adds on the classifieds as initially proposed?

Thanks, but as already said, only 1% of eBay sellers would react adequately. The bulk prefer to IGNORE, where-from it's clear THEY GIVE FALSE ID DELIBERATELY (in the latest case, surely, ssp. vaporosus is way cheaper, than ssp. kabiri) .

If you aren't happy with the site DONT USE IT you don't have to.
I do like the CS site by the way and often use it to good effect...and certainly wouldn't get upset over wrong data used by sellers, buyer beware!
Fact; when money is involved people will be dishonest. It's not Oliver's fault nor should it be his responsibility to filter all adds, he is simply making adds more accessible to those who are looking to save time or may not be as savvy at searching on ebay...no one can be an expert on everything, give him a break already.
