Geez. How many times. There is no such thing like real niclasi. All of them are 'faded' to blue. So you bought a true niclasi. And if you wanna I can tell you how to prepare your own blue form. Thank you very much for your explanation about blue forms O.Victoriae. I really very would like to know how it's done. Please share your experience, if you are not hard. I would also like to ask you. NO, what was the dealers name that YOU Dmitriy originally purchased the ornithoptera from? I'm sure the butterfly men on here may know the name if you tell us. This way maybe you can clear your name from the changing of colour from the butterfly? I Do not know the name of the final dealer. I have bought it through a friend. I think one very good thing to be learned from this catastrophe is that if you are a novice in this hobby or are simply someone unacquainted / uninformed as to some aspect of this science; than TURN TO THIS FORUM with your questions / concerns. We have a host of individuals on here WITH EXPERTISE running the gamut. From systematics to pest control to former dealers to collectors with 40,50, and 60 years or more experience. You really can't go wrong. Someone among our 2200+ members will help you.
In this way no one has to be taken advantage of by those of lesser morals.

Just an update to anyone who is interested....I never received any reply from Ebay [even though they said they were working on it last April] even after repeated attempts presenting the evidence and testimony from other experts...and of course nothing from the Russian seller. I have been completely ripped off and robbed by a dishonest seller and truly hope anyone who reads this learns from my misfortune. Please beware folks...

After reading through this thread, it should be a warning to all that buy from ebay, this is quite clearly a scam, yet that massive enterprise do not give a damn.
