After all these years, I have read and then viewed on Television stories about Big Foot/Sasquatch, I assumed it was a California creation. Like California, the Land of Fruit and Nuts, and not necessarily the kind that grows on trees. Well all of you California folks, here is my humble apology. I was wrong. Sasquatch is a native of Kentucky. Good God almighty! It was in the Lexington, Kentucky newspaper, The Herald-Leader: www.kentucky.com/living/article100035842.htmlThere are photographs and I witness accounts and everything. If I heard this story correctly, Sasquatch came into being the night after the Red Necks learned how to make Moon Shine. Now Billy Joe Bush and Jedidiah Bush (No one is sure whether they were brothers or half brothers or just distant cousins) brewed up the first batch of White Lightning and drank it. They brewed another batch when Betty Lou Miller from up Flat Gap way came to announce that she was pregnant but wasn't sure who the Daddy was. After several more batches of Moon Shine were consume, Betty Lou got naked and being a woman with lots of facial hair was seen in the Moon Light, the first sighting of Sasquatch was announced. Now you have it. Sasquatches are Hairy Red Neck Women. I will keep my eyes on the Harland County Gazette for further information. Wait a minute, I have seen a Sasquatch, she was waiting Tables at the Waffle House in London, Kentucky. And this one had Tattoos! Red Necks, White Socks and PBR! YeeHaw............. I need a Nap! |

The mystery to me is why we haven't found any remains. Well, to my way of thinking, that's not very valid. I live in an area that was inhabited by tens or hundreds of thousands of humans in pre-Colombian time. I assume they died. Given that there was a large (4000) population only a few clicks from my home, then mathematically many generations would have generated some 100,000 dead bodies in the region. I, however, have NEVER found one. |

The area where I live was inhabited by native Americans for thousands of years. I have the proof they existed in this place because of the stone artifacts they left behind. They were the "mound builders". There are still a couple mounds that I know of that have been preserved. The others have been long since destroyed in the name of progress. The town I work in is called Mound City for a reason. Lots of
indian mounds used to be there. In 2011 the army Corp of engineers was forced to activate the birds point floodway to take the pressure off the levee system around Cairo illinois. They breached the levee using explosives the shook my house 20 miles away. After the water from the Mississippi River scoured the land at the breach many native American remains along with tools were found. These people have been gone for a very long time but there is still physical evidence that they lived here.

Reo said look for the stick structures that are proof of bigfoot activity. That in its self should be enough proof that Bigfoots exist. Go out to a place near ware you live that not many people go. Look for stick hangs, branch snap offs, tree bends, stick leans, x's, blinds and random dead fall that is not normal( like sticks or logs lined up next to each other for exsample ). This means there is a Bigfoot in the area. If you have snow in winter or the area gets muddy from winter rains go out and look for prints- size range is 14 to 19 inches. I am surprised photos of Cougars are not believed. Just like Bigfoot they think they have to have a body of a Cougar. Sillyness! It is proven by the way that Bigfoot is real and is 50% human - go read that article mentioned above. I think Bigfoots are very intelligent. May be they do burry their dead. That would explain the no body found thing. Another thing is that it is estimated that 3 to 8 Bigfoots may be living in a county. How in the world would some one find a body in thousands of acres of wilderness? They have lived for hundreds of years in the back county, difficult to get to places and off the beaten path places carefully avoiding man as best they can. They are mostly active at night when most humans are a sleep. They do make mistakes and that is when folks see them.

I am afraid until a living specimen or a body is found and it's dna has been sequenced the world is not going to accept they exist. It's just that simple. 3-8 individuals in a country like the US is not enough to have a stable breeding population without some serious genetic problems. The offspring would have to get jobs at the waffle house. All of the sightings of these things cannot be hoaxes. All of the people that say they have saw one cannot be insane, drunk or on bath salts. So the big question is what are they and why hasn't one got smoked by a 18 wheeler when it ran out into the interstate at 2 am? Hell people are the most intelligent species on the planet and look at how many of us run over other people with vehicles. Elusive and low population numbers like maybe a couple hundred in the US I can buy that. But science demands concrete proof and we don't have it.

I think I was rong about scientists hiding stuff from us. Just found info on a different website about a DNA study. Go to your search engine type in pr web.com bigfoot dna you will see the results of a number of months or years on confirmed Bigfoot samples. One sample came from a person who saw a big foot at their trash shed and later that person collected hair samples stuck to the shed. I said that in each county in each state of America there is estimated to be 3 to 8 Bigfoots living there. There is evidence that they will leave an area in winter in some parts of the US. They may breed with other Bigfoots that they meet as they are on the move. This helps spread the genes around and prevents inbreeding. This means ruffle 13 to 18 thousand are in the USA.

Bigfoots, they may exist in parallel universe. When thise two are warped that's when we can see them, but no evidence and no proof as in reality they are not able physically to cross over...or are they.

I have to agree with others on here, written evidence isn't proof, science fiction is written, the only reason we believe in dinosaurs is because we have hard (fossil hard) evidence, they have DNA from Bigfoot?? Did someone personally collect it from Bigfoot or did they find something and it turned out to be new, unrecorded DNA from an as yet undescribed species and as for these stick structures being proof of big foots existence then I have to say that more crop circles have been descovered, does this mean you also believe in aliens?
I hope that one day this is proven and I'll hold my hands up and accept it, with good hard proof, if they are there we would have it by now, they couldn't survive as a species if there wasn't enough of a gene pool, in breeding would have occurred years ago and they would have died out.
I would love to go and check this place out, sadly though I'm camped on the banks of Loch Ness with a telescope and tranquilliser gun.

Sorry but what is a Progect, is it as mysterious as a bigfoot. I actually once knew a bigfoot, he had massive plates of meat (cockney slang) for your feet. His feet just grew and grew so that he had to have special shoes made, take my word for it bigfoot is still out there somewhere. I shall now go away and start my own thread. A few years ago I started a thread regarding this subject. Although much of the evidence seems quite compelling, it is still just evidence, not 100% proof. As many here have stated, the scientific community will never accept the existence of these things until a body, skeleton, or even just a skull is brought forth. There are so many questions that are left unanswered regarding Sasquatch. I have researched much of it and am still cautiously skeptimystic. The two things that are most compelling about this subject are the footprints (I mean the ones found in very remote places), and the accounts of witnesses that seem to be very credible. A famous quote by Carl Sagan "The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence".

I do not nor have I ever drank anything stronger than Diet Coke. I have never used drugs, legal or illegal. And, I have never seen a Big Foot or any other alien life form.
I have seen some very strange humans though. Some of them could possibly be aliens. Mix stupid humans with alcohol and/or drugs, and look out, her comes Big Foot. There is some guy from New York who sells Leps who fits this bill.
Bring me a live Sasquach or Big Foot and you have my collection, but I get to keep Sasquach/Big Foot.
I will run Big Foot/Sasquach for President. If we can run a Big Mouth and. Big Liar for President, why not a Big Foot?
