Thank you exoticimports for trying to clarify & get through to L.K.. Being the Internationally Famous Businessman with 30 yrs. experience as Leroy claims he is... he should have already known how to retrieve a misdirected package...
By the way Leptraps ever heard of a common, good business practice called...The No Questions Asked, NO HASSLE REFUND? Getting a refund from L.K. is like trying to pull teeth from an angry T-rex... just can't be done!

Thanks Chuck. I misunderstood. Appears to me like USPS is the Ankylosaurus hammering at the T. rex with its clubbed tail. No love lost with USPS. Observed them stealing personally and then when the mail carrier was reported, no punishment other than a refund through a hard fought insurance claim. As for pulling teeth, tranquilizers to calm the veterinarian and the T. rex would be helpful.
I'd go with a single malt 30 year old Scotch and a Cuban cigar......

I just got a text message from the Aurora Post Office, the box is still in route.

I stopped by the Post office in Aurora after lunch. I saw the photograph of the labeling on the box. My name and Leptraps were on the ship to address. Mr. Zokial name and address appeared the the "Return to" portion of the label. With a big magic marker with "Return to Sender". The box arrived at the USPS Cleveland Sort. And back to Canada it goes.
No comment???

?? I used your own computer printed return label, supplied with the 2nd defective light unit, which I rec'd 23 June 2020. I wrote, in black marker, on the outside of the package "Return to Sender for Refund" You, L.K. are the one who sent the units to me... you are the "Sender". Why in the world would I want the package sent to myself...for a refund??
So just that I get this straight? My return package with your 2 defective collecting lights is actually,right now, close to Aurora,Ohio?.. in Cleveland? The same package that I spent $105.63 CAD of my own money to return to you for a refund? And it is right now on it's way back to Canada?! This is the same package that you refused to give me a refund for until you got it back! WHY DID YOU NOT HAVE IT REROUTED TO AURORA as Chuck suggested?
This looks like nothing more than yet another unexplainable ploy to avoid/delay refunding my money! You are, Mr.Keroy Loehn, one of the most slippery characters I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
If that package ends up back at my doorstep I sure as H_ll won't be paying the return postage that will be assessed to me by the USPS. I have endured 4.5.months of frustration & unending runarounds from you...what is going on Leroy??
And by the way no more of your religious, self-righteous preaching! I'm pretty sure making false accusations against someone is also a serious sin. Your head may be lost in the clouds sitting so far up on that high horse of yours, but it doesn't make you any more closer to God than the rest of us! Only God will judge... certainly not you.
All I know at this point is that I have no working collectig light (which I no longer want!) & no money refund... nothing after 4.5 months & 50+ completely wasted attempts (phone calls,texts, emails, posts at insectnet.com etc.) to solve this simple transaction! Who is the real THIEF here?...& all this over a little collecting light??

I will no longer respond to your emails or post. You put my label on your box (?). Then you protected .uk RN to sender, the box arrives in Chicago and they sent it back to the sender. That was you.
Just keep it all. I do not want it back, I will no longer respond to your emails and posts. And if you send anything back, I will refuse it and the USPS will ship it back to you.

Yes... the return shipping label, was printed by you & included with your 2nd shipment to be used to return both your defective units together (probably forgot). I don't have a clue what the rest of your the 1st paragraph means?? Anyone else?
Typical L.K. behavior.. bugs out, yet again, when faced with irrefuteable facts; this now is the 4th time you have said you are done... leave me with no workable item & over $400.00 CAD in the hole. Does your business license grant you the right to steal?? ... all from a God fearing man... the irony is astounding.
Anyone? What am I supposed to do now? Moderators? Wollastoni? Adam?

Hey boghaunter1, after reading todays posts it is painfully clear Leptraps NEVER had any intention of returning your money or of compromising in this matter. He knew the faulty lights were on their way back to him. He knows that you paid an additional $77 bucks to make sure they would arrive without doubt or question. He CHOSE to not answer the notices he surely received from the USPS. So, now who is the "Thief amongst us" ?

When I sent the replacement Collecting Light Unit and two extra Light Bulbs, I enclosed a "return" shipping Label addressed to Leptraps and with a return on address from John Kozial.
Mr. Kozial packs the box, applies the label which I supplied and with a Black Magic Marker writes "Return To Sender". The box arrives from Canada at the Chicago, Illinois Bulk Sort. The Chicago Bulk Sort reads the "Return to Sender" written across the box by Mr. Kozial and USPS sends it back Canada.
And some how it is my fault.
I will repeat the history.
Mr. Kozial orders a Collecting Light Unit: 40 Watt 24" QBL.
Mr. Kozial receives the Collecting Light Unit: 40 Watt 24" QBL.
Mr Kozial calls me and claimed it did not work either.
I ship a third Collecting Light Unit: 40 Watt 24" QBL along with two extra Light Bulbs 40Watt 24" QBL. I also enclosed an envelope with a return shipping Label.
Mr. Kozial calls me and claims nothing works. I told him to return everything.
Mr. Kozial takes to Insectnet and all of this is now here for everyone to see.
All I have ever ask him, John Kozial to do was to return the defective Collecting Light Units. And that I would reimburse him the cost of shipping.
Over a month later and making this whole fiasco public, he writes return to sender, and some how it is all my fault.
I am reluctant to send him the $377.00 he demands for the one (and only) Collecting Light Unit Mr. Kozial paid for. And he paid for it with a credit card. If one of you will be the middle man, I will send you a Cashier's Check in the amount of $377.00 USD, and you can send it on to Mr Kozial.
That will be the end of this travesty.
Please advise.

It's none of my business but I really feel for boghaunter with this.He clearly has done everything humanly possible to resolve the matter only to receive excuse after excuse. Leroy you have not come out of this covered in glory.

It was you MR. LEROY C. KOEHN who originally brought this to this open public forum. When I went into complete detail right from 06 March to now about my endless troubles with you... you could not/would not refute anything I stated because I am the one telling the truth.
I did everything humanly possible to bring this "travesty", as you now call it, to and end, including shipping your defective junk back to you at my own expense.
Koehn... you blame everybody else... the postal systems, customs, myself... but absolutely refuse to take any personal responsibility (YOU sent me 2 defective units in a row....obviously poor quality control/poor workmanship). This "travesty" was STARTED BY YOU! You never expected to get such a strong response back.... you quietly deleted the originally posting falsely accusing me of being a THIEF & even stated that you regretted bringing this to the forefront on this Insectnet.com forum. In addition you twice apologized for subjecting other members to all this bullcrap & tried to get the moderators to delete this entire thread when things began blowing up in your face!

I have been in business for well over 30 years. I have sold product into 70+ countries. I have many repeat customers. In all my years I have never, ever encountered a customer or anyone else like John Kozial.
All I ask him to do was return the defective unit and I would replace it. I replaced it three times and he has yet to return anything.
Are you willing to be the middle man and if so, I will send you the $377.00 plus the PayPal fee or fee's.
As you may know, I am a man of Faith. Mr.Kozial has berate and belittled me, he has also taunted me with his multiple endless post's. If you count and read the 26 full pages worth. And remember, I only had a 10 minute conversation when he ordered and paid for the Collecting Light Unit.
And, I will bet some serious coin, we will get at least a three page response from Mr. Kozial.
And if you read all of his posts, everything must be done "his" way.
And even if he takes the money, which I am sure he will, this will not be the end of this. Evidently Mr. Kozial likes the spot light.
Again Chuck, will you manage the transaction?
